I did the American Express card (my deal was $1000 in 3 months) and after 2 phone calls where they told me “don’t worry the bonus points are coming” in the 3rd call they told me I was among a group of people some technical problem made them lose track of me or something (whatever). So now the rep opened up an investigation case or something to look into it. It’s been over 4 months since I hit the requirement, so if you do this, expect incompetence.
