Here at MyCreditCardsBlog, you will find all the top credit cards around. My latest find is the 5% Cash Back Fort Knox Visa for gas and 1.25% on everything else. You will rarely find another card giving you 5% unlimited cash back on gas. However, you must be part of the Fort Knox credit union to join. No worry. By joining the American Consumer Council(free to join), you are eligible to join Fort Knox Credit Union. The initial requirement for Fort Knox CU membership is only $15, of which $5 represents one share in the Credit Union, and the remaining $10 covers your one-time-only membership fee

Most of you know that Capital One credit cards have no foreign transaction fees, but I haven’t seen Visa or Mastercard without one. Not until I saw the PenFed Promise Visa with no foreign transaction fees. There is also no balance transfer(BT) fee and no cash advance fee, however it’s not 0% APR.
For those that are a little credit card savvy, you can use this no BT fee to your advantage. Lets say you have a 0% 12 months Balance Transfer offer from another issuer. You can balance transfer to the PenFed Promise card, and your credit will be negative. You can do a Cash Advance or write a check from Penfed card and there will be no fees.

I believe we might be coming back from a recession. How do I know? I notice credit cards bonuses been on the rise lately. Currently, Chase Sapphire(SM) Card is giving away 10,000 Bonus Points after first purchase. The 10,000 bonus points can be cashed in for a $100 check. There is no annual fee with the Chase Sapphire Card.
Once you apply for the Chase Sapphire Card, then make one purchase to get 10,000 points. Do the following to cash out:
– Call Ultimate Rewards Redemption Center at 1-800-610-5676
– Enter in CC# and zip code when prompted — the automated voice prompt should verbally state your current point balance as reflected in the system
– Select option to redeem rewards
– Select option to redeem rewards for cash (Option 2, I think)
– Select option for $50 check
– Indicate number of $50 checks that you wish to redeem — 2
– Complete order and make a note of confirmation code

I don’t need to tell you that having credit card’s debt is bad idea. If you are paying 18% or 22% on 10K balance, that’s like giving away $200 each month. You want to transfer the balance to a 0% APR credit card, but there is always a fee at least $75 per transaction or [...]
