Maximize Citi Thank You Points

in Citi, Rewards, Thank You Points

Do you have a Citi Card? Then you must be familiar with using it rewards system whereas you earn thank you points through purchases. You then use your thank you points to get gift cards, gas card, or airline tickets.

Question is, what is the best way to use your thank you points?

Personally, with my student’s loan debt, all my points are going toward redeeming for student loan rebate. For every 2500 points, you get $25 toward your student loan. Also, I’m thinking of building up my points to get a free airline ticket in the Continental US for 25K points. Everybody situation is different, so use it to your advantage.

Check out their Thank You Network for more info.

Here are some ways to maximize your points:

  • Use a multiple of Citi Cards to get the max points return.
  • Go through their Thank You network when shopping online.
  • Get more points from their banking products.

What are the best Citi cards do you recommend?

My best Citi cards are Citi Professional and Citi mtvU from the college days. They have the best return on your money

Do you know if I would qualify for the Citi mtvU card if I’m no longer a student?
